This strawberry brown sugar body scrub is not only wonderfully fragrant, but it’s also very practical.
Strawberry juice includes ellagic acid and also skin lightening extracts which can lighten your skin by reducing dark skin areas. It makes your skin soft and fresh.
If you want to see how magical strawberries are, just bite large strawberry in half and with the half that you don’t eat rub your teeth for a while. Rinse and see how much whiter your teeth will look!

This recipe is very easy to make and the chances are that you’ll have all the ingredients already at home. You can swap the brown sugar for white granulated sugar if you wish.
The almond oil can be swapped for coconut oil or other type of sweet oil.
I prefer to use raw honey for my home cosmetics making as it has the most natural ingredients that nourish the skin, but if you have just ordinary honey, you can use it too.
How to make strawberry brown sugar scrub
Put the brown sugar into a mixing bowl and add enough almond oil to make the sugar moist, but not too wet.
Add raw honey, lemon juice and the crushed strawberries. Mix well to fully incorporate all ingredients.

How to use your strawberry body sugar scrub
To use this amazing strawberry sugar scrub, simply put a small amount of the scrub in your hand and gently scrub fingers, palms and backs of your hands in a circular motion.
You can even use the sugar scrub with a batch sponge if you prefer. Rinse with warm water, leaving your skin beautifully soft and moisturised.
This strawberry sugar scrub is suitable for sensitive skin and can be used all over your body.
If you find that the brown sugar is little bit too coarse for you, make the strawberry sugar scrub with white granulated sugar next time, which is much finer than brown sugar.
How to store your strawberry sugar scrub & shelflife
It’s best to use your strawberry sugar scrub fairly quickly, because of the fresh ingredients. I prefer to store mine in an airtight Mason jar in the fridge and use within a couple of weeks.
