Last week, I was invited to attend an event sponsored by Viva® Vantage® at a local bloggers home in Sudbury, MA to learn more about Viva® Vantage® Paper Towels, and to write a post sharing my experiences with you. As you can see from the photos above, the home was beautifully decorated for fall, and had small vignettes set up where we could learn more about Viva® Vantage® and the 7-Day Switch Up.The bloggers I met at the event were so excited to all put Viva® Vantage® to the test, to challenge the product and see if it could really live up to expectations. We started off using a damp paper towel to clean some tomatoes. We were all shocked to see just how much dirt came off of those tomatoes! Not one of us realized tomatoes were that dirty, many commented we typically just rinse them under water, slice, and go. After seeing how dirty the paper towel was though, we have all vowed to scrub our tomatoes from this point on! Test Passed.
Next, I examined the glassware for the drinks, which were washed with soap and water, then dried with Viva® Vantage® Paper Towels. There were no spots anywhere! Test Passed.
If you are a fan of my Facebook Page, you’ll enjoy the Grape Rinsing Video. I was able to pile a handful of grapes on to the Viva® Vantage® Paper Towel, put it under running water, rub the grapes to get the dirt off, and rinse again under the water. Not only did it get the grapes clean, it held up under the weight of the grapes while it was soaking wet! Test Passed.
Another blogger was preparing food for Anti Pasto Skewers, and the Viva® Vantage® Paper Towel was soaked after draining the olive oil off of the vegetables, yet still held the weight of the vegetables when lifted in the air. Test Passed.
Once the event was over, I headed home, to an afternoon packed with activities. The roll of Viva® Vantage® I received in my goody bag got an opportunity to be put to the REAL LIFE test, as I began my 7-Day Switch Up.
I stopped by the groomer to pick up the dog. She is not a fan of getting a B-A-T-H, and when she saw me, she went potty on the floor. I pulled out the Viva® Vantage®, and it cleaned the mess up with only 1 paper towel. Best of all. My hands stayed dry 🙂 Test Passed.
Headed over to the various schools to pick up the kids, and then to a neighboring town to a Cross Country Meet, and snacks for all the kids. They used the roll of Viva® Vantage® to clean apples. It got them clean and didn’t break. Test Passed.
Soccer, Football, Basketball, all come with a variety of situations where kids find new and unique ways to make a mess. Once you have a roll of paper towels with you, you’d be amazed at the opportunities that present themselves to clean up a mess;) With three teen/tween age boys doing so many activities, these cleaning opportunities are never in short supply. The bonus for me is that I was able to clean the messes before they had time to set in. I am really pleased with how absorbent and strong the Viva® Vantage® Paper Towels are, while still being so soft and gentle! Mom On The Go Test Passed.
Cleaning kitchen counters? Bathroom Sinks? Scrubbing items in the sink? It was super stretchy and strong, and I was shocked to see just how effective a single paper towel could be! No more grabbing 4-5 sheets of my old brand, when the Viva® Vantage® 2015 Product of the Year got the job done with just 1 sheet. It took scrubbing to a whole new level. Test Passed.
7-Day Switch Up:
Viva® Vantage® asked us to try their product for just 7 days as part of the 7-Day Switch Up, to break out of our routine and see what we’ve been missing. Personally, the kids keep me so busy, that my shopping habits are in fact routine. I keep a running list of what we need, and rush through the store to get all the necessary items, grabbing the same brands out of habit, and don’t really look to see what options are out there. I’m always in a hurry to get back in my Mom Taxi and my next stop. Taking a few hours to really examine a brand I wasn’t used to really opened my eyes to the fact that the brands I typically buy out of habit may not necessarily be the brand that best suits my needs.
It’s an AH-HA moment.
Then a moment of questioning, “What else have I been missing out on?”
I’d like to invite EACH OF YOU, to take your own 7-Day Switch Up, to see what you have been missing out on. Clicking the link will take you to the Viva® Vantage® website, and you can get a coupon to help you save on your purchase, so you can test the product yourself. After you’ve tried it, simply return to the same link, and share the results of your 7-Day Switch Up. Best part, you can enter for a chance to instantly win a $100 Gift Card!!!!
Here are some tips the brand shared that I found so helpful:
7-Day Switch Up Tips:
-
Ditch the bulky colander in favor of a paper towel. Place veggies and fruit on a sheet of Viva® Vantage® paper towels under a running faucet to function as a strainer; the stretchy-strength will keep the towel intact when wet.
-
Keep lettuce fresh longer by wrapping a paper towel around a head of lettuce to soak up excess moisture.
-
Hand wash and dry wine glasses and other stemware using the cloth-like texture of Viva® Vantage® paper towels for a sparkling finish.
-
Replace the need for a vegetable scrubber by using the great scrubbing power of Viva® Vantage® paper towels to properly clean mushrooms, potatoes, etc.
-
Need to chill white wine quickly? Don’t dilute it with ice; wrap a damp paper towel around the bottle and put in the freezer to chill rapidly.
-
Slip a damp paper towel under your cutting board to prevent it from shifting while slicing and dicing.
-
Need to get that grime off your stove? The great scrubbing power of Viva® Vantage® paper towels allows you to clean the toughest messes and restore your kitchen’s shine.

I have totally fallen in love with these towels. I have found so many ways to use these and they continue to surpass my expectations. Today I canned a bunch of pumpkin. I then saved the seeds and wanted to dry them so I could roast them. I put them on these towels. Normal towels would get wet and would tear leaving little papertowels stuck to the seeds. Not the Viva Vantage. They worked like a charm. So happy you introduced me to these!!
Rosie says
I’d like to try using Viva Vantage instead of napkins – you can really clean up with Viva!
Sherry Compton says
We would use these to cover dishes in the microwave. See how well they keep the food from splattering as cooking.
Sherry Compton says
My daughter slices apples and puts the slices in a ziploc bag to grab whenever she wants for a quick snack. Putting a paper towel with them helps soak in the moisture. We could use Viva for this.

Okay, So I used my new Viva Vantage today and I am Totally impressed. I had two garbage bags full of apples and I needed to peel them to make jam. I didn’t want to use a sponge or washcloth to clean the apples, as I wanted something I could use and throw out. So I used the Viva Vantage towels. I had the towel SUBMERGED in water for at least an hour and it continued to work as a buffing the dust off the apples. I took photos, I am so impressed.
Natalie says

I bought two packages today at Walmart. I like them so much. At first I was not sure because I am not a fan of the “select a size” as 1/2 sheet is never enough. Also they are a little “rougher” than what I am used to. However, they are so durable, and can soak up big messes. I am sold. 🙂 Thanks for the post.
David Fultner says
I have used them as a coffee filter.
