6 days until St Patrick’s Day!!!
These Leprechaun St Patrick’s Day Cookies are sooo cute! After following the repins, it looks like they originated from this Pinner, but it just says Uploaded by user, and when I click on it to look for a recipe post, I get a 404 error. If anyone has seen these somewhere else with the full recipe, I’d love to link to it AND know how to make them for the kids school parties!!!
How about these?! This one also came from Flickr, with no recipe post to link to. The pinner I tracked it to is Mrs W. If I were guessing though, I’d say that these are probably sugar cookies cut with a shamrock cutter, then decorated with icing. They look really adorable and easy to make!
This source is also Flickr, via this Pinner. It also looks like iced and decorated sugar cookies, but personally I’ve never seen a leprechaun cutter, and I don’t know if I’m talented enough to decorate cookies this well! Might be fun to let the kids try though, they’d enjoy it, and if they eat the evidence, it won’t matter if they aren’t perfect 🙂 On a side note, Aaron just saw this and said, “HEY, THAT’S ME!”. He looks like this:
Moving on, my sorority has annual Shamrock Philanthropy events all across the country with collegiates and alumnae alike. We raise money for Prevent Child Abuse America, and our colors are olive green and pearl white, so these next cookies are especially dear to me, I found the original recipe at History in the Baking.

My mom yused to make little hates like that from fudge stripe cookies (the brim) and a large marshmallow (stuck on w/a bit of chocolate ) then dipped in green chocolate. (much like the pilgram hats on Thanksgiving )
