Milk-bone Dog Treats 3 Back-to-School Morning Routine Tips For the Whole Family

By now, most of you know that we adore our dog, Cuddles. We adopted her several years ago from a Pet Rescue, so we’re not exactly sure what breed she is. We do know that she’s had some issues come up that are commonly associated with a few breeds, that we think she may be part of. Just like with our children, we look for products that we think can help them. With Cuddles, we’ve been giving her some Milk-bone Good Morning treats for over a year, that seem to help alleviate some of her joint issues. I was thrilled to find an email from the Milk-bone team, asking if I’d like to partner with them on promoting this line of products. It’s always exciting to work on a project with a brand you love, and are already using in your daily life 🙂

When Cuddles was a puppy, she was already crate trained, and she loves sleeping in her crate. She naps in it, and sometimes when we can’t find her anywhere in the house, we’ll find her snuggled up in there with the door open, because it’s “her” space that she really enjoys. Each morning though, she’s ready to bust out when we open the door, to go for a walk outside. When she’s done outdoors, she makes a beeline for the door, and heads straight to the area of the kitchen where her Milk-bone Good Morning Treats are stored. When we get one out of the container, she takes it, and runs to her favorite spot to devour it. In the picture above, I was opening the box of goodies, and she was sitting patiently, hoping I’d drop one for her.

I was trying to get her to do her “smile” for me, but she kept licking her lips. I thought it was hilarious, and managed to get an action shot to share with you 🙂 You can see, she REALLY loves these treats! Cuddles LOVES her Milk-bone Good Morning Dog Treats!

Back-to-School Morning Routine Tips For the Whole Family
Dogs and their human companions have something very important in common: both are creatures of habit.
With school about to start—it’s the perfect time to make sure the whole family gets off on the right paw with the right habits at the start of the day. (And it’s so much more fun when the whole family is involved!)
1Get active with your four-legged trainer in the morning.
40% of doggy mommies and daddies do healthy things with their pups at the same time that they do healthy things for their families. By adding doggy exercise to the rest of your family’s morning routine, your dog can actually begin to encourage the rest of your family to stay active!
2. Involve your kids in caring for Fido (and for themselves).
Dogs, just like young kids, need role models. 57% of dog parents who also have human children involve their kids in caring for their pet—instilling responsibility and good daily habits like brushing their teeth and taking their vitamins.
3. Make sure your dog consistently receives the nutrients necessary to live a long and happy life.
1 in 3 pet parents are confused about what’s needed for proper pet nutrition, meaning many pup parents are unaware that their dogs’ diets may be lacking in essential nutrients.  Milk-Bone Good Morning Daily Vitamin Treats were created specifically to promote your dog’s well-being and longevity. So when you’re giving your kids their daily vitamins, remember that your pup needs their nutrient-packed treats too.  Your dog adds so much to the family—make sure to take care of him/her for the long-term!
