Fingerprint Flower Pot Craft
I ADORE kids fingerprint crafts, especially now that my own kids are older, all will be in high school next year! For those of you with smaller children and/or grandchildren, I encourage you to take advantage of the opportunities to capture the fingerprints, handprints, and footprints of your little ones now, because they grow up way to fast. I love to look back at all of their older craft projects and remember when they were so cute and tiny – and not full of teen angst, haha! The days are so very long, but the years are even shorter!
Fingerprint Flower Pot Craft Supplies Needed:
Terra Cotta Pot
Acrylic Paint
Paint Brushes
Buttons
Modge Podge (Optional)
Step 1: Start by painting your terra cotta pot with whatever color you’d like of acrylic paint. Then set aside to dry.
Step 2. Next you’ll want to use different colors for the fingerprint flowers. Choose your colors and press your finger into the paint and then press your finger onto the flower pot. Continue with the fingerprints by placing them on the flower pot clockwise to create a flower shape.
Step 3: This step is optional, but you can seal your artwork with modge podge before you place on your buttons in the next step. Glue on buttons in the middle of your fingerprint flowers.
Step 4: Your flower pot is all ready for you to plant your flower!
