My Thoughts: This book is full of monthly calendars, check lists, to do lists, recipes, and decoration ideas for the holidays. It’s broken down into months/holidays, such as Thanksgiving for November, Christmas for December, and New Years for January. I am a list person, and I am quite forgetful. My family knows that if I don’t write something down on a list, there is a good chance it won’t get done! I need checklists and to-do lists to stay on track, and ensure I don’t miss any important details.
I love that this book includes a section for budgeting as well, so you can plan down to the smallest detail, and make sure you’re still within the budgeted amount for each holiday or event. It also includes a section for a guest list, menu, things to buy, grocery list, and cooking schedule. This is something I already do, but it takes a good bit of time to really think it all through and plan it out so that the holiday meal is prepared on time, and that you have not forgotten anything important. For Christmas, it also includes wish lists, gift liusts, gift tags, Christmas Card list, and a Thank You note list!
