I am breaking out of my comfort zone this year, attending BlogHer Conferences. I am an introvert. I like shopping online, working online, and communicating online. I do enjoy being in the presence of my family and friends, and attending BlogHer is an opportunity to meet my online peers, colleagues, and representatives from the brands I enjoy working with. Best Buy has a wonderful blogger program and they are fantastic to work with, so I made sure to quickly pop into their booth and say hello, and get some information on the products they’re currently showcasing.
It’s time for me to upgrade my phone with my current plan, and if you know me well, you know I am hesitant to upgrade and change my technology, because it can be intimidating to learn all of the features and functions. I sometimes feel like I just get it all down pat, when it’s time to upgrade, haha. However, my current phone is beginning to show signs of its age, and I know it’s time for me to look into the various options and compare them, to see which one will best meet my needs. We are on the go most of the time, with the kids activities, so I need a smartphone that has a great camera, lots of memory, charges fast, holds its charge, allows me to easily access and use social media, and is user friendly.
I have to say, I was impressed with the Samsung Galaxy Note7. It’s been awhile since I’ve used an Android phone, and after playing around with the model phone, I decided it’s worth looking into.
Another thing I really appreciate about Best Buy is how knowledgeable and helpful the representatives at my local store are. They’re not overly aggressive salespeople, but they do know their products well, and they know which questions to ask me as a customer, so they can guide me to the choice they feel is appropriate for my needs. I even found out that about 50% of people overpay on their cell phone bill, and by using the Mobile Plan and Compare service, I can figure out how to reduce my bill! I am ALL ABOUT saving money whenever possible 🙂
These are a few of the Galaxy Note7 features I love most:
- 12mp camera (Smile kids!)
- 64GB of internal memory plus a slot of a microSD card (This is my FAVORITE feature)
- Fast wireless charging (THANK YOU!)
- 5.7″ Super AMOLED HD touch screen
- Water resistant (no worries about the rain, snow, or sink when I’m washing dishes & chatting away!)
- Iris scanner (security is awesome)
- S pen which allows you to draw, write, even write on your screen when the phone is locked
- Samsung Pay (security when shopping, I can leave my cards at home)
As I mentioned, the 64GB of memory and microSD card is my favorite feature. Here is why. When I’m at the drugstore waiting to pick up a prescription, I like to be able to pop a microSD card into their photo printer and print off copies of pictures. I do have a fab printer at home that does this, but sometimes I want multiple copies to give to the kids friends or mail to family members, and this is convenient for me while I wait. Also, I tend to take hundreds of pictures, to savor memories of all the kids activities. It’s been a real struggle for me to not use up all the memory on my current phone, then have to decide what must be deleted in the spur of the moment to make some space, only to discover I’ve missed the moment I wanted to capture. Can you relate? I really think the Galaxy Note7 can solve my smartphone problems, and I hope to have one really soon!
