This post is brought to you by Vaseline and Family Dollar, as part of a campaign with Global Influence. Regardless, all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.
Living in New England, winters are HARSH. We have all noticed a difference in our skin since moving here, and it gets very dry in the winter time with all the forced hot air necessary to stay warm. We have learned that it’s better to be proactive in treating dry skin, before it gets cracked and starts bleeding. Vaseline brand products are honestly our preferred line of defense in battling this. My middle son, specifically, must put Vaseline Intensive Care Lotion on in the morning, 2-3 times a day at school, several times once he’s home, and at night we put the Vaseline Jelly on his hands and cover them with socks while he sleeps. We’ve tried many different combinations, and this seems to be what works best for him at this time. Outdoor sports season has just ended, and the dry skin flare up was bad, after being out in the elements each night at practices and games. Now that we’ve moved to Indoor sports, and started the aggressive treatment, the condition has improved. I wanted pictures, but, he’s 11, and not really wanting pictures of his hands on the internet 🙂
