Best Books of 2016
I love to read and make time to read every day. I almost always have my Kindle with me when I’m out and about, so if I have some free time while waiting in the carpool line or in a waiting room, I can spend it reading. When I’m at home, I read a few chapters a day in one of the hardback books I have in my TBR pile, and at bedtime, I like to use my Kindle. Why? It’s backlit so I don’t need a lamp on that I have to get up and turn off when I’m tired. You can adjust the backlight to your preference level. Also, it auto turns off if you stop turning pages after a while (I think you can adjust the time limit in the settings). I fall asleep reading almost every night 🙂
You can see some of the books I read last year on Goodreads in my Year of Books. It’s linked to my Kindle, and I try to rank them when I’m done. Most of these are books I found free on Amazon, part of the Kindle First Program, or books I was fortunate to be gifted 🙂
Here are a few other Hardback Books I purchased/received to add to my collections! Many of these are authors I’ve been reading for years and adore, others were gifts 🙂
